Avondale man arrested after firing a gun outside reception
Michael Bame, 23, of Avondale, was taken into custody Saturday for allegedly discharging a firearm within city limits. Bame was attending a wedding reception at the Pinnacle Peak Patio restaurant in Scottsdale when the incident occurred. Bame became angry with his wife when she refused to get into the vehicle claiming he had too much to drink. Bame showed his anger by firing a gun into the air.
Bame was also arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and endangerment about 9:30 p.m.
No one was injured from the gunfire, and Scottsdale police said they did not see any damage in the nearby neighborhood.
